Seems like a lot of euphyllia gets cut short for shipping ease and cost savings.
If you have to add more water to the bag to make up for a longer skeleton adds to shipping cost.

So, once you get that piece and want to add a little temporary height to it, what are your go to solutions?
I have a couple taller frag mounts but can't remember where I got them or what they were called.

What are the possibility's?

anyone?

I can “extend” a frags base by using 2-part Epoxy and moulding my own base.

I can make an Expoxy base (whatever shape)and before drying, stick a plug in it, then remove and let dry. These make great temporary mounts alllowing ease of movement.

Can get say 2-4” in additional height.

I was hoping to find pre-made frag plugs, with the hole drilled and with a stabilizing base that elevated the coral up 2"-3".
I bought a couple a year or so ago and can't remember where I got them.

Here is one.
This one actually has 3 holes. One on top and 2 down lower.

I like these to elevate and stabilize low cut torches

Dm me if you need some

Those are very useful.
I bought some of those last year(?) from some here, but again my memory is failing me.

I looked on Candy Corals website but could not find any.
Send a message to Arielle.
It should not be hard to find.
I mean it’s a piece of clay.
It would be faster to mould your own, may take 5 minutes.

I will.
I just remembered I have a tube of that 2 part epoxy laying around somewhere.

Perfect.
Dry it outside the water first.
Epoxy can make skimmers overflow when curing underwater.

I know, it's crazy how skimmers react to this stuff.
I usually end up taking the collection cup off for a week or so.

Those are the EcoRock frag plug holders. Widely available online if you do a Google search.

I like them as well. The only issue is the frag plug hole is small and doesn’t fit all the most common types of frag plugs.

Like this? If so try Fragbox Corals.
Talk to March. Quite a few configs.

I have a half dozen of them coming soon.
I'm hoping to find some of the taller ones similar or the same as the picture I posted. #4

It may be hard to tell with the lights off in the picture, but the one is 3" tall.
