I have 6 yellow tangs, besides another 10 misc. tangs (and ~60 other fish)… 4 YTs + 7 misc. are in my 500g DT and 2 YT + 3 misc. are in my 200g DT. Since I’ll be moving soon, and everything will be moved to temporary holding tanks, I’m thinking about putting all 6 YTs together when I reset my 500g.

The 6 YTs all look identical TO ME, but I’m wondering if any of the tangs will realize that there are ‘new’ members to their gang! Thinking that introducing all of them together in a new aquascape might avoid any bullying.

Hopefully they’ve never learned how to count! Anyone see a problem?

I would think as long as there all roughly the same size and the aqua scape is going to be completely different you should be fine there is always that chance that they don’t get along that’s just something your going to have to keep an eye on most times it’s only for a day or 2 and they get over it best of luck
