Any idea what's happening with this hybrid tang? Tummy seems to be bulged up.

Had it for 2 weeks. It is eating well and active. Have been feeding macro algae from my sump along with frozen food, pellets and flakes

Thanks in advance.

From my personal experience, I'd diagnose him as a hungry guy. Most of my tangs have has some sort of distention after a particularly big meal or just extra grazing over time. I've observed the effect to be worse if they are skinny/juvenile.

That is good to know, thanks.

I was worried if it is getting constipated or some other issue! Will keep an eye...

I wouldn't rule that out, I'm no expert.

You could try feeding brine shrimp, that has a mild laxative-like effect due the high chitin content in the shell. My tangs poop a lot so you may be able to observe until you see some come out to eliminate constipation.

didn't know that, thanks.

I have been feeding frozen brine and mysis once a day. I will try adding more times and see how it helps.
