These are good member of tang grouping
They can be skid fish and often play dead freaking out their owners.
They eat well and grow at a fairly good pace

I had a yellow tang but a golden damsel killed it and few other fish

Are they hard to keep like everybody says they are?

nope they are pretty easy but they are super prone to ich if you do not qt other fish or inverts going in. Just lost mine due to a jumping accident :'( had em from about the size of a quarter til 6 years old and 5 inches. Ordered a screen protector for christmas now and got a tiny little biota yellow tang, not letting this one go out the way my other guy did
