Hey everyone! I have 4 tangs in my 70 gallon that aren’t grazing on this algae outbreak I have going on. Yes I feed heavy and they are all fat . I stopped giving them nori thinking they would start eating this algae. It’s brownish green and growing in clumps , still not eating it ? Should I back off on the frozen and pellet food I give them? Is this algae some kind they don’t like? I’m going to include a picture of the algae. Or can someone recommend something that will eat it cuz my snails don’t seem to like it either. Maybe a sea hare ? Thanks for any advice!!

They only way your tangs will eat that is if you pull it out as close as you can to the base. Tangs seem to like young tender film algae just like many herbivores like new growth.

That clump looks like turf algae. If so tangs won’t touch that stuff.
Ohh really! Well that’s a bummer cuz there’s a bunch of it ! Short of trying to pull it off by hand is there something that eats it?
