With the size of my tank and the stock listed below, I was wondering if I could add a blue hippo to my tank. I've seen them before in in a 75g looking healthy as can be. My main concern would be having it in with my Tomini tang. Any advice or experiences welcome.

90g FOWLR
Foxface lo x 1
Ocerllaris clown x2
Blue spotted Toby puffer x1
Tomini tang x1
Flame hawk x1
Red legged hermit crab x 5-10
Snails x 5
Short spine urchin (red) x 1
Conch x 1
Chocolate chip starfish x 2

IME one tang in a 75 gal. is sufficient. I believe that there'll be a fight and I wouldn't attempt unless you have another tank for a back up to put one of them. If you just have to do it, rearrange the rocks so the Tomini doesn't have a clear advantage of knowing the territory and have the lights turned off. Another way is to put up a divider so they can get used to each other without being able to fight.

My tank is a 90, not much bigger but would that change anything?

Blue hippo is a tang that gets big very fast and probably isn't well suited or a 90, especially with another tang. It isn't impossible but not reccomended...blue hippos get nasty when in to small of tanks, aggressive and will rearrange your rockwork if the rocks are small enough. A powder blue stays smaller and would be better off in that size tank, the other tang might be a problem though. If a lot of fighting starts tape a mirror to your glass so the fish fights it's reflection. If it were up to me, I'd still only have one tang in a 90 though. Mimic tangs and bristle tooth tangs stay small and do good in 90's...as well as sime zebras like a yellow.
