do tangs have teeth or do they just push? my yellow tang is giving my butterfly no end of grief. And i think i,m gonna have to do some house cleaning.
 
You might try putting your tang in the sump for a week and see if that helps.
 
Tangs definitely have teeth. They are small comb-like teeth used for ripping and rasping algae off rocks. The teeth can be quite effective at ripping fins on other fish too during territorial aggression.
