When I built my very cool water cooled LED light fixture I added about 10 bare wires sticking straight up an inch or so that I use as test points in case an LED goes out. But, I know I am not supposed to have one arm in the water while my other arm is touching one of those live wires.
Are those LEDs on a constant current driver? That'll zap you good!!

I don't remember what I put them on but it felt like lightning. I missed the old days of getting Zapped every once in a while to keep me sharp.
Now I am running my Diatom filter. I do this maybe once a year mainly because it is raining so I can't go on my boat. I turned it on and rust shot out all over the place so I know it is working perfectly.
I stirred up my gravel and now the front glass looks like sheet metal so I know it's cleaning like it is supposed to.
All is well.

Yes she is.
Tank is all diatomed now and I didn't get too much water on my walls or floor. The diatom filter is red hot as always. This one is very old and I drilled 1" holes all over the end plates to cool it off and I also drilled holes at the bearings so I can oil it better. :D
Works like a charm.

Heres a video. I think Steven Spielberg took it. They eat new born brine shrimp and frozen baby brine shrimp. After a while they eat almost anything very tiny and meaty.

And a picture

Very cool thanks for the reply!

I may build another Steam Punk anglerfish. I am not sure as I have enough steampunk for the art show in August but once the Steam Punk Bug bites you, you just have to keep going.
This stuff keeps me up at night. I used to think about Supermodels, now I think about Supermodels swimming with Steam Punk fish. I guess its an aging process.
If I build another fish I will make it with more Pizazz.
The Supermodel counselor at the VA told me that building stuff and staying awake is probably part of my PTSD. Who knew!
If I didn't have to sleep I could do this kind of stuff all night. It's kind of a curse. Sort of like reefing.

Some of it is thanks to you. Chasmodes (Kevin) was kind enough to send me, free of charge, some parts for this piece. The large copper tube was a hand pump of some sort that I re designed and that smaller tube was from him. I still have more parts he sent me that I will hope to design into something. :D

He also gave me some parts for this one.

Maybe part of an old-timey garden powder sprayer?

It is similar to that but I think it was more like a fertilizer or commercial bug sprayer. The copper part fit inside a much larger container that I didn't get. The plunger is very heavy, to big for the one you pictured. The top of it, where I have the bulb was a large, heavy funnel looking thing.
It doesn't matter as I only needed the part I used. It fit perfect and the light socket also fit inside.

I am going to start making another Steam Punk fish. I am not sure what kind of fish but an angler fish seems to be the easiest.
