Looking to get a nice tank setup. Mainly fish only. Currently I have:
Coral Beauty
Powder blue tang
4 blue green chromis
2 mocha clowns
Spotted Molly
yellow goby
diamond goby
royal gramma
CUC: snails, emerald crab, skunk shrimp

I have been told that ill need a massive tank because I have the tang. Is this true? Im guessing around 100gallons?
Im looking at redsea, innovative marine and waterbox for tanks but not sure what is the best fit/form for the price. Im still a salt beginner so I want a system that will be easy to maintain. What are some recommendations on size and brand?

Why not watch Craigslist and FB Marketplace for some used tanks. If you are patient, you’ll find large tanks for a song and dance.

I would be looking for a 180 drilled. I’ve seen tank/stand setups for south of $700!

I just took the plunge to an IM 200. I love the build quality as well as the ability to customize.

Tangs do grow large quickly. Here’s a picture of my 5 inch Orange Shoulder Tang that’s about 1 year old. Also depends on how much you feed them. I feed twice a day.

My aquarium is a RSR425XL

I have been looking but everything for sale in the area is garbage that people are trying to unload. I want good condition gear and not stuff on its last leg about to croak. I want to setup and not have to worry so much about it. I had everyone in a 65 gallon tank but after ICH took over I pulled them out into a 30 gallon QT tank and completely gutted the 65.

LA recommends that it be at least 125. I have the waterbox 130 and 25. Love em
