This is all of the progress I've made setting up my tank to date. I'm about half way there. Itll be 20 gallon high (not much room).

Gonna buy the rock last, right after I buy the tank. I'm in a little tiny cubby hole of a bachelor apartment, so space is a limiting factor, the only place in my room to fit any rock is in the tank lol. I'll be getting the caribsea liferock, caves, and shapes, and 20 lbs of the regular stuff so I can be really selective with my setup pieces. Won't have any room for those big boxes in here though till I'm ready to aqua scape. I still gotta get a bunch of other equipment too, Brs 5 stage rodi, vectra s2, vortech mp10, more test kits, media reactor..........almost there lol.

Oh yeah I picked up the Hydrometers for redundancy lol. I'm still trying to decide between the Milwaukee refractometer, and the hanna salinity checker (the hand held one). I was dead set in the Milwaukee till I seen on some YouTube videos that it doesn't monitor temperature accurately. From what I've seen this hasn't been an issue towards monitoring salinity, but seems troubling (especially with the extra cost). I'm leaning more towards the hanna salinity checker now, any experience with either of these?
