Hey So I have been cycling my tank for about three weeks. First picture was 4 days ago, second photo is today. My question is do I have to wait for the nitrites to be light blue 0ppm? Or is it pretty much cycled. I was told after tank cycled to dose 1.0 amm and wait 24hrs and if it showed 0amm and 0 nitrites, then my tank is cycled. Please let me know what I should do or wait.thx

Nitrites aren't toxic to marine fish at low ppm. As long as you have no ammonia your good to go. Also the nitrites will give a false reading on the nitrate test so best to wait until you show 0 nitrites then check nitrates.

I've been cycling my tank also but done a 3month cycle as there's nothing worse than rushing your marine setup. Give it 1 more week and it will be ready to go with no issues buddy.
