Tank designs that make you angry

Are there certain types of aquariums where the design just seems obsolete. For me it's those really skinny tall cylinder tanks. There's not much that you can put in there that will be happy, cleaning it is a pain in the butt, and it feels like the only good feature about is it "looks cool".

At our local Indianapolis zoo they have one of those very tanks in their oceanarium. It has a normal size angel fish in it, not a dwarf. Sorry, can’t remember the variety. I don’t think the tank is more than 36” across. It’s just SO WRONG!! 😩

Oof yeah those kids of setups make me mad. I think it would be better if they were just set up with some tall pieces of kelp and a lot of cool invertebrates like shrimp and starfish. Maybe even do a bunch of small species that you can't keep with larger fish to showcase the variety of tiny marine life that can be found in our oceans.
