Tank is crashing and cant figure out why

I suspect a biopellet reactor is used as this may be the symptoms of the new tank syndrome. Common when biopellet reactors are used in recent set up aquaria and the carbon supply was interrupted for some time. How did you flush the reactor and why? If a biopellet reactor is used do not remove it, let it run normally.

I think I had a similar issue,,,believe I tracked it to an overdose of nopox,,,gave it about 4 days,,running and cleaning skimmer and socks,,everything us looking fine now

I had a bacterial bloom like this. I used a 10 or a 1 micron filter sock, can’t remember which one. It captured all the excess bacteria and oxygen returned to normal levels.
