I recently set up a Prostar 90 V2 which is about 80 total gallon in my new-to-me house that has hardwood floors. The floors are solid, level, and in very good condition. The tank has a 36x24 footprint and I leveled the stand before putting the tank on it. The top of the tank is level as well.
When a person walks or the dogs(2 x 75lb golden marshmellow) run by the tank I can easily see the top of the taking shaking/swaying front to back and it settles out with a second or two watching from a lower angle. I wouldn't say it's extreme to the extent I'm worried about it tipping, but it's definitely noticable. The stand is the newer type that has 6 of the round feet instead of the traditional style stand that has floor contact area across the whole length of the stand.
It's enough to have me a little worried about it, and was wondering does anyone elses tank shake? Would you try relocate to a lower traffic area of the house? Does it pose a greater risk to the seams over time?
Any thoughts on it would be greatly appreciated!
