I leveled my 75g glass tank with standard composite shims and it is off by .1 degree front to back and .1 degree left to right. Is this acceptable? The shims are currently flush with the edge of the stand. The floor isn’t level.

Does the tank have water in it? Are the shims between the tank and the stand or between the stand and the floor?

Yes, it is currently full. Just tap water for now, trying to level it before going any further. The shims are in between the stand on the floor.

I meant to say the shims are in between the stand and the floor.

following along as mine was about the same off.

I would also like to hear how any of you have shimmed your tanks that didn’t have leveling feet on the stand.
