Question for everyone. I’m really itching to upgrade the size of my reef tank. My only dilemma is I will most likely be moving in the next 4-5 months. How risky is it to relocated let’s say a 40 gallon tank. Also looking for tips how to transport my existing live stock. It will probably be a 1-2hour drive when I relocate. Currently have a 15 gallon Bio Cube

I have moved FOWLR tanks that size several times over the years.

Minivan/SUV should be fine.

Livestock goes into small plastic containers.

Rock goes into large plastic containers.

Water goes into buckets/jugs.

Sand stays put.

It will take you and 1 or 2 other people most of a day to break down, move, and set back up. If you don't disturb the sand much, the spike should be minimal.
