So we heard a POP! THUNGGGGGGGG! the other day. Turns out the center brace to the old euro 80 pulled away from the frame so we have a 90gal Perfecto coming tomorrow. We are trying to do a full tear down, transfer, set up, and transfer all in one day. Sump and equipment will remain in place with the reactor turning water.

Here's how I prepped so please let me know if there's something else I should do, have on hand, etc.

I have 3 Brute cans mixing salt all independently heated and power heads.

55gal and 25gal transfer tanks for rock, corals, and fish independently heated. I'm pulling two QDs off the main tank while moving to move water in the transfer tanks.

Floor is tarped.

20 gals RODI for any evap in brutes to match salinity

Extra PVC glue etc

2 air stones for transfer tanks

Bottle of prime just in case

Shop vac

Lots of towels

I can't say I'm looking forward to this at all. Here's the last day the ol girl will be up and running (yes that's a clamp on top LOL), prep for move, and the mobile rodi unit I ordered and built so I could make enough water in one day.

Don't forget the liquor for the end, LOL!!!

All new water or combining some of old?

Assume rinsing sand and reusing.

New tank and new stand?

You earned some good Karma, lucky with only a popped brace. We can never have enough clamps[emoji106]

How many fish ?

This event earns you a Reefing Battle Scar [emoji106]

Same stand, same sump, new sand. I figured I would just eliminate some potential issues with new sand even though it's an alkalinity suck.

Does the Battle Scar come with a badge? LOL. I never got one for my build thread.;)

Well it took a day and a half, but it's done. It looks like everything took the move really well. Talk about a lot of work!
