I need to take down my 30 gal and would like clean it up. Its been up for 5 years and i dont want to do a whole lot of scraping. Vinegar the best to get rid of all the scale and coralline or just go for some muratic acid? Its an im30l so getting in the small spaces on the back sump is a pain.

You can try citric acid, available on Amazon for very cheap. It wont stink up the house like vinegar also safer to handle than muriatic acid.
