Here's our tank I already shared it in meet and greet but figured I'd start a tank thread if not for anything else for myself and records so here we go !

Thank you sir it's not a big tank so big fish aren't an option in many small fish like lots of rock work to post and perch on so we're going to work with what we have throw in quite a few corals should be looking good here in another year

Tank Update !! New lights make a heck of a difference. Lost the crappy hood and canopy light went with a glass top only for the fact there is a window unit that blows in its direction and with no top it gets a little dust in it but the glass top looks good for now. Threw on a couple Pop Bloom RL60 and wow what a difference in lighting and aesthetics.

Nice looking tank. What size is it? How are your lights working out now that you have had them for a while? How loud are they?

The Popblooms on the small tank are great so far. As for the noise I can't hear them over the big tank, TV, dogs, kid etc lol so I've never noticed them to be loud

Well the new 75gal tank with the 30 gal sump was coming along nicely until I noticed a drip in the plumbing. Unfortunately I'll have to drain the tank to be able to slide it from the wall to fix it. I would rather do this now before I put all the fish in here from my 30 gallon tank and stress them out again. While it's down I would like to swap the stand out for a new one I built that's way sturdier and lots more room to work under it. I hope to also switch the crushed coral out for sand before any detritus or anything gets in there and makes it nasty. I thought I would like it but don't and would like some sand sifters one day. I will throw a good chunk of it in the sump since it's already cycled and seeded with beneficial bacteria we got some rock in the sump out of the 30 gal and this tree built so far. I'm ready to get the rest of it out of the 30 and in here and get the scape built. Hopefully swapping the sand won't set me back too far keeping a big chunk of it and having some love rock in there already
