Well the new 75gal tank with the 30 gal sump was coming along nicely until I noticed a drip in the plumbing. Unfortunately I'll have to drain the tank to be able to slide it from the wall to fix it. I would rather do this now before I put all the fish in here from my 30 gallon tank and stress them out again. While it's down I would like to swap the stand out for a new one I built that's way sturdier and lots more room to work under it. I hope to also switch the crushed coral out for sand before any detritus or anything gets in there and makes it nasty. I thought I would like it but don't and would like some sand sifters one day. I will throw a good chunk of it in the sump since it's already cycled and seeded with beneficial bacteria we got some rock in the sump out of the 30 gal and this tree built so far. I'm ready to get the rest of it out of the 30 and in here and get the scape built. Hopefully swapping the sand won't set me back too far keeping a big chunk of it and having some love rock in there already

Good luck to getting the sand swapped!
Hopefully it won't set me back too far being there is no waste in it yet

Well the last 2 weekends were insane to say the least lol. We got the stand built and painted then had to let dry. Of course during the week I kept coming up with changes/improvements to the stand which would drive me nuts until they were done. Well got the stand complete and everything ready to swap. I was quite pleased with how smooth everything went. Drained the tank and sump, scooped then vacuumed out old crushed coral. Wiped it down good. Removed the tank which is the only way the sump can come out(another reason for a bigger stand) then the sump. Took out old stand and brought in this brick shxt house of a stand and did it all over again in reverse.
Combined this

Sorry for the lack of updates but Life has certainly been life-ing 😂😂went to Reefapalooza. Added a few new corals, trying to save 2 that haven't taken the move well. Added a Sailfin, Scooas, 2 blue damsels, watchman goby, a pistol shrimp, blood shrimp, cleaner shrimp, and a ton of pods so here's a few snapshots of the tank now any suggestions on where to put those coral off the frag rack let me know I want to get them mounted but want the placement to look good too and I always second guess myself
