So it's official, my foxy has outlived every other fish I've put in this tank. He was adult when I bought him, I believe it was around 2010. To date, there have been clownfish, baggai Cardinals, and some chromis who all eventually died of old age. Plus one surgeon tang who died of an unknown disease a while back.
He's in a 125 FOWLR with a few pencil urchins, two serpent starfish, a pistol mantis that I've never seen but heard, and a baseball size blackleg hermit.
Any suggestions for beautiful friendly tankmates?

Foxfaces are super peaceful, really any fish that is a good fit for your tank would work. You could even do another foxface if you wanted to! Lots of info says not to but mine never had an issue together.

@i cant think also keeps multiple rabbits/foxfaces together!

Butterfly. Or as noted it’s big enough for a second foxy. Or how about several wrasses. I’m particular to the leopard wrasse or halichoers wrasses. If I set up another tank I’d definitely get a few wrasses. I’d love to a tank big enough for a foxy again at some point. Once it settled in it acted like the tank was its. Not aggressively, but with confidence.

Angels are what i would pick! I think it's a case of you only want what you cant have though. Foxfaces are super chill and can feel along with pretty much anything though, so sky is the limit! (Also tank size...)
