Tap size help for fitting

Hello, I want to tap threads into my reactor. The fitting I will use says 1/8 MIP . What is the tap I need so the fitting will screw in perfectly? And the drill bit too if anyone knows. Thanks

"Iron Pipe" threads became NPT threads

When in doubt take the fitting with you & match threads@ the store.

What material is the reactor made out of? That thread is slightly tapered... I wouldn't use it on acrylic it may crack..
