Hi all, I saw some pictures from tck of this piece and was wondering if anyone out there that has it can confirm that it looks like the pics they've posted? Seems really cool and I want a frag, but I'd like to get a little more information first

That image looks like it was taken under actinics with a gel filter. Photos like that are very deceptive and the corals rarely look that way without having orange glasses on.

For example, here is my Walt Disney under several different lights.

Actinics (true to what I see in person)

Actinics + Orange Filter. You will only see colors like this wearing orange glasses.

Just looking at their picture, it looks like the body will be gray under white light. I bet the pink corallites will be barely visible. And the polyps will be way less intense and maybe predominantly even green.

I bet it will look pretty disappointing, but am always glad to be proven wrong.

My thoughts exactly, I do have hope though

I might also mention that you could also have to put the piece in a photo box with no water movement for a while to get the polyps out like that. This one would be a hard pass for me unless some folks that I really respect have seen it in person under normal circumstances and say that it is worth resources to keep.

Yep, y'all are confirming what I thought, that's why I made this thread to see if anyone has it, because this is one of the only pictures I have seen

I remember seeing this one in their live sale, they sold several frags and it was a popular one in the thread. I also remember it being reasonably priced. Someone on here must have it to show

Exactly why I wanted some feedback from said people, I saw the price and figured I’d look into it more, since if it looks like the pics I’ve seen then it’s priced very well

I can see this for myself, but as I stated in my original post I'm looking for someone who actually has this piece to give their opinion

Sorry man
But that’s not the Tck sour polyps, but it is a Malaysian Tenuis. I was just informing @jda that we don’t need a black box and stagnant water to get PE like that.
