Did you run the plasma long enough to experience any growth??? I know the color isn't the best but I was thinking a plasma surrounded by royal blue crees would look hot but wonder how the growth would be...:)

I didn't run it long enough, frankly aside from the color it make me nervous. The driver and housing for the emitter became EXTREMELY hot, in excess of 200 degrees. I am no expert(plenty of peeps will agree) but just based on how much heat being created by the driver and the emitter itself there is no way that it was only using 284 watts.

Oh, and did I mention it was yellow!! Maybe a BUNCH of Cree blues could overwhelm it but 1 watt Reef Brites couldn't thats for sure.

Looks nice Todd.

Did you get that first pillar I made for you into the tank as well? That one was one of my favorites.

Makes me want to go sculpt a few more pillars.

And yet UPS and Fed Ex keep finding ways to break stuff. I always find it amazing when I pack things a truck could back over and not damage but they do. And that pillar fell off a table and didn't break. Makes you wonder doesn't it.

Here are some back room shots while I wait for the lights to come on so I can take some left hand side shots. I went for simplicity.

Sump: 210 gallon poly, all 4 of my tanks drain into it.

Vertex 300 with, I like it but secretly wish for an external so its not so reactive to the water level in my sump.
Skimmer.jpg

My lovely Barracuda, feeds my 500, my 150 frag tank and 2 60 gallon tanks roughly 30 feet away.
plumbing.jpg

Wiring as neat as its gonna get and well above any water source.

Back of the tank, I am going to hang shower curtains across the back today if I can find them in black or navy blue.

It's not Detroit T. It's bin laden. Lost a couple buck too with the real estate crash from
A house in Dexter .. And business went so slow after 9-11 I had to sell a shop in briarwood mall.
