Would this cause bad readings?

Impossible to know. It *could* cause a bad reading if the internal electronics are damaged. But from a photo? Unknown.

I have changed from HM brand to these, since they have a nice backlight. Easy to read, and they are available with between 1 and 3 sensors.

That’s fair, I’ve already ordered a 3 sensor one just to be safe but for now I’m stuck not trusting the results.

This is good to know. I plan on upgrading from a 5 stage to a 7 stage in the near future and adding this instead of the HM meter will make it better.
