32AAC5C1-EAD5-4666-92EE-3744DA07209B.jpeg Hi- Im in search for a temp controller that has a dual controller built in for heater and chiller. What can someone recommend? I need this for my nuvo 25 lagoon.
Saw the inkbird any good? I have a Ranco but only for heater and the thing is pretty robust trying to keep slim its for my office.
Thx
Brani

I just ordered that exact one online yesterday for my heaters. The thing I'm concerned about is the probe material. I'm going to try shrink wrapping it just in case it corrodes, like you would a ranco probe.

Many people use Inkbird temperature controllers. It likely will work just fine. The only concern is that the probe appears to be metal. Unless it is high-quality stainless steel, it will rust. You may want to consider Plasti-dip or epoxy to protect the probe from seawater.

I've seen people silicone them as well. Shrink wrapping them works well. Leave a small amount of shrink wrap pass the probe end and heat it, while hot smash the end with smooth jawed pliers to seal the end.

Why not just invest in a reef controller. Has a heater controller built in and does so much more.

Yeah i know. Its setup in my office where I really cant hook up anything to the router as the company says safety reasons so cant get apex if i cant have it hooked up to internet. I can probably just plug it in and noone will know. I forgot now when setting up the apex if i can just hook it up to router and thats it or if i need to go in settings in computer because computer is restricted for Admin use only so we don’t change any settings
