I noticed coral stems kinda clear/white. I have captain jerk palys who showed me theses signs. They look good but will they recover and if so how long will it take. I through in another heater to heat up the system here in la is getting cold.

they are still bright green but the bottom part of the steam is clear but the remaining is brown. still happy. Will they heal fast.

like the stem is like a clear brown and now it just turned clear at the bottom but the top is still brown and nice green polyps.

You've done well with your Heater redundancy. I'm getting two heaters and two controllers for my next build. That and my returns. Plural. I'm going to be redundant there as well.

they look bright green and are open just that i noticed this since the temp change will it be a while to it will heal

A 2 degree drop is nothing to bother corals. When I do water changes, my heater broke so I add cold water and my tanks all drop down by 6-7 degrees, on a weekly basis, everything is always fine.

After a heater caused a tank crash, I took all my heaters out of my fishless tanks. There were ~7F temp swings per day, sometimes more, and nothing seemed bothered by it. If anything, a few of the zoas seemed happier in the lower temps, with the lowest recorded being 68F.
