Tempered Glass tank. Glass thickness?

Hi.

My father and I are in the process of building an 180 x 90 x 65 cm tank (around 6x3x2 feet). The tank will be made of tempered glass(I know it can't be drilled) with an eurobracer.

My question is: Is 12mm glass thickness ok for that dimensions?

@Saralay we dont use tempered glass here. I can share the non tempered thicknesses of glass we would use. 1/2 walls with 3/4 bottom with perimeter brace and 1/2 euro bracing.

Also wondering this. I thought that tempered was much stronger and therefore better than normal glass.

Being it’s prolly prone to exploding when a big tank is set on a stand.. it doesn’t take much to bump a corner and the pane will explode! it has its purpose but fish tanks isn’t a good one.
