Would it be a bad idea to get a black clown from petco? Also how would three clowns in a tank fare? Especialy of one is bigger than the rest?

What size tank? I hate cutting corners on live stock I personally wouldn't.

normal lfs offer black clown pairs for around sixty bucks for the extra ten bucks you can save yourself a lot of potential trouble. besides local businesses are better than corporations who dont care as much about their livestock

i woudl not put 3 clowns in a tank together, at some point 2 will mate up and then kill the singled out one. i experiencd on my own when i first got into it.. idiot at petco i asked for the 2 clowns in the same tank. he gets me one out of it and the one out of the tnak next to it? then says i can put one back and aget the other one? yea right then you wont know the mates so i ended up with all 3. had to put in a divider to keep from killing the singled out one then trade it off to someone.

not worth the hassle


and anemone shouldnt be put in new tanks honestly.. they need to be in well esablished and mature tanks

They are on sale for 24 bucks, that is way cheaper than 45 at my lfs
