Hi, is it possible to test my pumps' flow rates (accounting for plumbing) by setting up a station that approximates my run and put a graduated bucket or bin at the end, measuring how much time it takes to fill? Has anyone tried this? Could be messy, but I have old pumps lying around and I'm curious about my actual flow rates (versus advertised). I don't have a flow meter.

Yes, I use 1 gallon water jugs, put them under the return pipe. Start pump and when water starts coming out start timer, stop timer when full, math = gph. Accurate enough :)
