Thanks to Randy and John for all they do, but who's gonna step up to the plate on this forum and take over the algae problem that's taking over the hobby? I know a lot of it is actually brought on by the lack of live rock and companies selling poor food for fish and coral. It's all about the $ and I can guarantee you that most of whats advertised to help is hurting. Do we not discuss this because people love sponsors, or because if we had no algae problems this site would be cut in half? Just curious on your thoughts because it seems everyone has a what not to instead of a what to do. And even the what to do's are going in circles. JUST NOT IF YOU CAN HEAR ME, IS THERE ANYONE HOME?

I don't think its that big of an issue. Its a pretty straightforward process to deal with (algaevores + limited n+po4 + competition). Its not a conspiracy.
