Hello, just joined R2R and already impressed with the welcome and the info available. We're starting a reef tank for the first time and trying to figure out what we are getting in to. In theory the tank will be the responsibility of my 11 year old daughter who wants to be a marine biologist. I think I'm going to be heavily involved and looking forward to it.
We are starting with a 60 gallon cube. So far all we have committed to are the tank, a stand, and a sump tank. I'm shopping for a return pump, flow pump (pumps?), lights, etc. If anyone has any suggestions I'd love to hear them.
Thanks,
Dan

Welcome to R2R! This will be a great bonding experience for you and your daughter.... this is coming from someone who's love for fish tanks came from her own father. He let me help with his tanks all the time :)

Welcome to R2R! It's great to have a future aquarist in the family!
