What is that ONE piece you have in you tank ? You know which one ..its that one showpiece that stands out above them all. May it be a $10 frag that has grown into this amazing prized colony that has to be in every shot you take of your tank or the 1st thing you always show off to visiting eyes .....or is it a $XXX that you practically took out a second mortgage on and have always dreamed of having then one day it's yours ! How long have you had it ? Was it an Itty bitty frag when you first acquired it or a large colony already?
Would you ever part with it...would you ever frag it ?

For me it's my nearly 2 yr old World Wide Corals Hollywood Nights goni... when I first got this peice as a 1" frag I was skeptical I would even keep it alive..let alone watch it grow into a thriving colony of 4" !!!!
It's the most intriguing, healthiest peice I have in my tank..and probably one of the faster growers...its the 1st thing that catches your eye..and of course it's up front and center !
I would never frag it ? Taking the risk of infection and loosing entire colony would be too much to bare...would I ever part with it ?.....that is a question yet to be considered...

I take pride in all of my corals, but there is two that was basically rescued from certain death. I friend had me come look at a tank that his son had. Long story short, huge argument in the house left the tank with a big hole in it. The tank also had an empty beer bottle in it. The tank had a bout 4 or five inches of water left. i pulled all the corals that were in this water and brought them home. Placed into a make shift tank made with a plastic tub. All perished except a zoa frag and a duncan frag. The two frags have done very well with the duncan growing new heads on it. Here is a pic of the duncan.
