Little update on the reef. Everything has been doing well although we are having another little algae outbreak that we are battling. Picked up one coral that has been my favorite since day one a Garf bonsai acro !! Looks awsome, also got some sunny d zoas for the zoa garden along with my monti that is growing like crazy. Other than that nothing has really changed and everything keeps chugging along.

Update. I am planning on ordering a couple things in a week or two including an ato system that I desperately need along with a gyre powerhead. I will also be getting the aquaticlife t5/led hybrid light fixture. Cannot wait for them to all arrive. Other than that heres a pic of my sunny d zoas.

Man, very nice. Congrats! I'm still in my build mode on my first 60 cube, so little time to work on it. I was pleased with my progress as a newbie, but, man, ur timeline on this is awesome. Congrats again. Its truly amazing.

Picked up a few things from the lfs along with moving around my rock work a little bit. New to the reef is a nice duncan coral, and a new midas blenny (my favorite fish). Finally some coralline started to pop up and is already spreading all over so im very happy about that.

So I finally picked up the aquatic life t5 led hybrid to pair with my prime hd. I am running 2 coral plus and 2 blue plus t5 bulbs. I do like this fixture alot and it definantly puts out alot more par than i had before obviously and my sps love it. I still have to clean up the wires a bit and find a better way to hang the fixture but the way i have it will do for now. All and All i would recommend it to anybody looking for a great light for a great price. Also picked up a new lavender tang. He is gorgeous.

Little update, we have been battling hair algae for some time now and just cant seem to get rid of it even with cutting back light and feedings. Picked up a lawnmower blenny to see if he can help out a little and also about 10 more red and blue leg hermits as we didnt have nearly enough I so think. Also a picture of our duncan coral and setosa that has been growing like crazy !!

Looking good, I'm also considering a 93 cube. Anything you wish you'd done differently yet? What are you currently using for the sump, I'm thinking of using a 60 cube (24x24) and partitioning it myself so the flow through it won't be as drastic as a smaller volume sump. How's the noise from the overflow?

I can attest the 93 gallon has its challenges. Right now my biggest issues are 1, the stock stand that came with it is horrible, so incredibly jealous of your stand. 2, hair algae is a PITA. I have two blenny's, 8 snails of different varieties, and an urchin that still cant tame the hair.

Love the scape and very jealous of your t5 hybrid, I want to upgrade to that. I currently have two kessils and trying to justify the purchase.

Thank you guys for the positive comments !! To tell you the truth I love the 93 cube but also hate it. It is really hard to get flow just right for placement of corals it seems, atleast for me with my aquascape. So future references set up a scape that will work with flow and plan ahead. When we buy our new house i will most likely ditch the cube and get the red sea reefer 750

Havnt been on in awhile and figured I better give a update. Bad news is our tank got struck with velvet and we lost some of our fish ( midas blenny, yellow tang, blue damsel, clown goby, diamond goby ) . Most of them were whipped out within a day or two before i could even act up on qt them but i did get all the other fish out and were able to save them so I am happy with that. With a little over a month of qt and constant water changes on making sure the display tank is good everyone is now back at home and happier than ever. Glad that is over. Also just picked up a green slimer acto and loving the way it is looking.

New chalice I had to pick up today at the lfs. We also picked up a new diamond golby to replace the one that did not make it through the velvet.

I brought the same tank but right now I'm looking to either buy a custom stand or make one myself... I really wish they had options to buy one for this tank.. the selection is very small.

For the most part it will be easier to make stand that will fit your equipment. I like to build a stand around the equipment I have that way i know everything will fit.
