hi all,

So I made a dumb mistake today and left out a package of reef frenzy, and when I came home from work about 8 hours later, it was fully thawed.

My question is can I refreeze the food for use, or have I wasted this brand new bag? Thanks in advance!

It's trash. Human foodservice guidelines allow for up to 4 hours at an unknown temperature, though I wouldn't allow that long for frozen fish. 8 hours right in the sweet spot for bacterial growth makes this pack a goner.

Thank you for answering this. For some reason I never saw the post when it was posted originally.
