Maybe Neptune will trade it in for an apex?

I recently had ecotech send me an mp40 in exchange for one of my old mp20's. :)

Pretty sure its mid to late 2000s. I was just looking through some old aquarium magazines from 2005-2009 and they were advertising controllers like this as the hot new thing. I know when I saw them I thought they looked pretty 90’s, too.

I still have my aqua controller junior. From my Linux desktop back in the day I ran the serial connection to it for remote access. I could ssh in to my Linux box from anywhere and access stats and control it.

Sucker still works. Only an outlet or two in the plug brick is not trustworthy. Sitting in the basement. One day it might come in handy again as it can still do the basics.

Ive been looking for my jr. Think it may be back at the folk's house. Or it got given away when the old bow front got taken down. She controlled a beauty of a tank for a decade!

They could do quite a bit that most people never used. Specially that pro above. Had all the bells and whistles. I could not justify spending that much but I constantly coveted it. It was theeee controller to have back then and could still give modern ones a run for their money in the way of reliability.
