My Emperor. I think it’s a female. She’s small. Got a buddy of mine one way smaller and much later than I got mine. His is larger than mine and turning colors now. Mine barley getting the next morph colors. Had her for 2 years she she’s only 4”’.

As far as i know, most or all angelfish are protogynous hermaphrodites, so i'd expect that any individual which is a young adult or still in transitional colours would be female
