Yeah, we aren't sure and either was the LFS - it wasn't ordered but came in with the shipment. Checked it out well and it appears very healthy, at least right now so I asked how much. Figured if it wasn't badly priced I'd give it shot and see what happens with it. Wanted another nem for the tank anyway so why not. Got it suuuuuper cheap so what the heck. I'll post more pics as the days go on and we'll see what it does.

Right now hes a really bright blue, very pretty really but we shall see if the color stays or goes. I'm betting it will go. LFS pointed out that it started to adhere quicker than usual with it's foot and didn't come off the same like you would see with the condis....foot was different too. Who knows *shrugs*

Very nice but I would say that its dyed because the foot is blue as well. Of course we could be wrong and you have a one of a kind. Either way, the blue contrast is amazing.

LOL yep, we noticed that when we checked out the post here to see how the pic posted. Actually the foot itself isn't blue but brown - but, it has that blue-ish tinge in a ring around the base which leads us to think the same as well. I wouldn't dream of spewing anything about having a one of a kind but I can't say I'd be upset if it stayed this color either. lol LFS said they used to see the dyed yellows back in the day but hadn't seen anything yet like this one. The contrast is pretty amazing isn't it. :) For $20.00 I'm ok with whatever it plans on doing. lol The LFS was in no way advertising it as anything, actually had it hidden in the back but I found it when I was chatting back there. lol

Yeah for 20 bucks you can't go wrong. I would not have let it pass by, you never know... It could remain that color. If so and it reproduces, let me know! :wink:

hey if it makes you happy and you like it and it doesnt hurt the nem more power to you. you like what you like to say otherwise would just be lying to yourself. congrats and i hope it turns out well. good luck.

p.s.- keep me posted on how long the color stays or if it even fades at all. :smile:
