I have been in reefing for 18year (only)
I love the diy, but at a certain moment i realised less is more......

Less equipment= less maintenance = less energy comsumption = less time spend in the sump = more time enjoying the display = a sustainable way of reefkeeping.

No water changes since 2015. No expensive equipment. Only 2 part dosing method and yet a nice result.

This tank is so unreal. The newly introduced corals are doing very wel, especially the acropora florida is my favourite now. With it's pink tip and the abundant polyps it's mesmerising.

Update Dec2023 EZ2Goreef, 190 liters.
No water changes since 2015. No skimmer, no media reactors, just equipped simple freshwater tech. Doses and power filter do the job.
Lighting: the latest JMB seawater lamps.
