So, unfortunately, it would appear that my Coral Beauty is no longer. It has been several days since I've seen him, and since I opened up the aquascape, there aren't a lot of blind spots to hide in.

This makes me sad, but the fact that he was a jerk (a bully that also ate two clams) lessens the blow a bit. I do have it on good authority that Santa will be bringing me a Bellus Angel this year, though. So that helps, too.

I want one of those! Would it be fine with a Lamarcks?

25 gal WC, new arches added, sand bed vaccuumed again, glass cleaned, and a few other miscellaneous odds and ends done today. Between the new fleece roller, repeated vacuuming, and nightly dosing of KZ coral snow I've been seeing substantial improvement in water clarity. The relatively barren landscape will be remedied over the next two days. Stay tuned.

Hard to say. All have had luck mixing angels. Some good, some bad.

No experience here but I would say probably not since they are very similar. I would do that instead of the Lamarck's.

It's Testing Tuesday. Shhh.... I know I'm a day late. Alkalinity needs to come up a bit, but it is keeping pace with my NO3, which is also heading in the right direction. PO4 is trending down, but has a little more to go. I'll retest again on Saturday, but will likely restart bactobalance this weekend. Calcium is on point, which is why I don't trust the Hanna Mag test. I'm not concerned. All in all, things are looking good!

Good Morning, Heathens!!

Today's the day! My "holy grail" leopard arrives!! I don't think I slept at all last night- it feels like Christmas morning, and I can barely contain myself!

It will likely bury itself in the sand for a bit, but pics will be coming ASAP. I already have a name picked out, but that will be revealed with the images.

Also, so as not to disappoint @Reeflix , coral pics will be incoming at some point later.

Things are still getting acclimated, so not everything is fully open. Except for the Duncan. It is super happy. Sadly, it's looking like I lost the WWC Green Austera. It seems to have bleached.

I'm so bummed out right now. The leopard arrived DOA. I opened a claim with the vendor and am awaiting a response. In the mean time, I'm continuing to aerate, heat, and acclimate the corpse so that there's no debate, given the expense of this fish.

is it in rigor? if not, keep it in habitable environment.
