Yeah that’s my pinky, Pepper is super tiny and will be spending quite a bit of time in the acclimation box lol.
Those eels are AWESOME!! I had one for a couple of years (had to sell him eventually because I was moving across country). He still is one of my favorite "fish" that I've kept. They're also bulletproof for the most part IME. He'll be a lot of fun!!

I had one briefly when I first started a decade or so ago. I do mean briefly because he jumped through the tiniest hole in the top within a week. That’s why I am not taking any chances this time and she is staying in the box until I can figure out the most escape proof lid ever and so she can get a bit bigger lol. Sorry you had to sell yours, maybe it’s time for another?;)so far this little noodle has been a joy and I am looking forward to watching her grow!

Just seeing yours makes me want another, but I'm a bit afraid he'd find my clowns, wrasse, or basslet a bit too tempting to resist once he grew bigger.

Hmmm possible, but a golden dwarf probably wouldn’t;) lol

I am going to try and do regular size comparison pics for Pepper. It’s been just over a week but I swear she has grown some. Maybe I am just used to seeing her now and the shock of how tiny she is has worn off. I wish fish were as easy to tell as reptiles, but you can’t just plop an eel on a scale lol. She is a little pig for frozen though, I am going to pick up more ghosties tonight and see if she will give live a try this time.

I am loving all of these Pepper pics! I had a tiny little fellow like that in a 20 long about 30 years ago. I was working at an LFS and they let me take him to try and get him eating. Later, I brought him back for sale when he was a bit fatter. Brings back lots of memories.

Awww idk if I’d be able to bring him back if I were you, I’d get too attached lol. Glad you were able to get him eating and healthy though. Pepper did take a live shrimp last night, I made sure to give her the smallest one. I think she has stole the show, I might have to rename the thread to “ReefQueen’s Pepper show off tank” lol.
