I think I will spend some time on YouTube today, reliving the days of my misspent youth. The soundtrack of my life, so to speak. Good times & bad. Music is a powerful memory enhancer for me.

I'm doin water changes in both tanks today
I believe it's been 6 weeks for the FOWLR and the reef.
The reef went that long trying to limit/reduce/kill off my cyano.
If I can keep the cyano at bay and just the little bit I have in the sand, I'll go back to weekly changes.
BUT weekly changes is what brought the cyano back I believe,? eventually I'll have to start testing things.
It's been 8 weeks since I've tested alk in the reef...eh, I've been lazy and just working my new job trying to get by.
I'm starting to feel I have more energy and less painful when I get up each morning since getting that new bed.
Getting excited to start my 120 gallon adventure!
Thinking up the plumbing right now, I'll go simple and reuse as much of the plumbing from the 40b.
Hoping my Jebao DCP-6500 is big enough for the tank.
Put a great combo of 8x T5 bulbs in my cart on BRS, will replace them right away and keep the current bulbs as backup.
Oh yea, going to need a sump, going cheap here.
Probably a 40b baffle kit from Fijicube?!
Going to need more sand and rock, would like to get that cookin' ASAP!!
May be another 2 weeks until I pick up the tank.
Seller says he has some finnex heaters , hoses, magnets and some extra stuff that goes with it.

Day off today, so I just woke up...

Purchased a Vertex Cerebra Prima controller last night.

I figure it will be fun to dig into the software via SSH and see if I can't make it a true standalone with an on-board web server.

Worst that happens is I can't and I still have an aquarium controller finally, not having automation has been putting a damper on the things I'd like to do with the tank.
