Anyone else love cespitularia? :)

I had some purple in the now "aiptasia species nano tank." I guess they stung it into submission because it just disappeared. It was growing and getting really big. BIg enough to concern me about adding any to my new tank. Maybe it was just my "grubby puddle." :-) They have some called "Metallic Cespitularia" on Marine Farmers that looks like it might be interesting. Can't tell a lot by the photo there.

I added eight berghia today to that tank (well 7 as one became a $15 lunch for one of the nems when it tumbled from the rock I thought it had hold of). Hopefully I will have good luck with them like Katrina did.

I know full well how expensive it can be. Many years ago I was a professional photographer. Had a very profitable business doing weddings and portrait photography. I sold all of my very expensive gear before it became obsolete, thankfully.
I’ve been itching to get back into photography as a hobby for a long time :):):).

The moon is beside us. I am looking out the window, Earth, Sun and Moon. The Moon is a half moon, but I can see it all clearly. From my position, I can envision the point on the Moon where I would be based on my location and the sunrise. That helps me see my position on the Earth. Seeing all three together with the rising light is incredible sometimes.

Good morning y'all! Well, looks like I'll be paying for an iPhone for...forever. 13.00 a month until I die. Apparently teens aren't even allowed to be spoken to unless they have an iPhone. I can't complain. Hippie Kid had his previous phone 5 years and there wasn't even a scratch on it.

Think tilted C lagoon style. Sorta. I like a heavy scape. I'm not a minimalist. I'm waiting on a stencil to get here before I post pics of the back wall. I'm experimenting with a shadowbox effect.

Ya know when you're messing with your tank and it just looks "right". This tank is not conventional in any way.

Btw, the stand is being done with hand tools. My preference. I just like the way it feels. Maybe because I learned that way? I am using a finish nailer though.

One snag on the stand. The dentil moulding had to be ordered. No longer a stock item.

Little story, me at the lfs a couple of months ago with my mate, asst. manager.
Me - What is it?
Rich - A crab!

Now I think about it a lot of conversations at my lfs go like that!
It arrived at the wholesaler on an import and no-one knew what it was so they gave it to the shop to go in a sump.
It came home with me!
I switched the sump light on this morning and I don't know who was most surprised, it or me, it froze briefly!
I narrowed it down to some sort of spider crab but it gets very diverse when you look at tiny differences.
First time I've seen it since it went in! :)
