I am kinda glad this old bar didn’t get put on the street for trash. Liking the grain on this almost 40 year old bar. Still can’t decide how to finish it though. I was originally going to paint it, but now leaning to stain and Spar Varnish. It will be partially exposed to the elements.

Someone forgot to tell the local burger place that there is a beef shortage. This patty was at least 1 1/4” thick. 4 slices of bacon too! Sorry for the blue tint. Reef tank nearby. :) Now I need a nap!

no i suggested to poly it ,he said no we will just do it again in 10 years ,is about 6' tall has to be rebuilt all the rain has it listing but not going to fall... i was going to suggest torching your bar like @Scratch08 ,but yours has good grain will be awesome poly coated:cool:
