I worry about y'all stuck in larger cities. What you are experiencing now may just be the tip of the iceberg in the future. Move out to smaller communities while you can and get a little ground so you can grow some food if needed. We are on the edge! Stay well and remember our little town has a paper mill and bullet manufacturer right next door lol! We are ready to shoot and .... whatever.
Tiny house nation! I could do it.

Lake Charles is not a bad place to live. We are at about 100,000 in population and I can still get from one end of town to the other in about 10 minutes. We have had a couple of large land-based casinos locate here with the sole purpose of sucking as much money out of Texas as is possible. We are just across the Texas border and they do not have legalized gaming there. Houston's 6 million + people population is only two hours away.

We are currently in a boom here. Along with the casinos (and these are NOT truck stop casinos), huge petrochemical plants are re-emerging here and now a couple of large Liquid Natural Gas plants. We also have one of the largest inland ports here. New houses and businesses going up all around us. Our population grew by 25,000 people seemingly overnight. I fear the small-town feel is fading fast.

Hello, people. Hope everyone is doing okay. It's getting crazy. I went to Aldi's this morning and almost no meat. Next, Food Lion and the same. Last was Wally World and got a organic chicken, which i had no choice because it was the last whole chicken in the store. Also, I got a pork sirloin roast to cut-up for chops. Got all of the dry goods i was looking for except rice.

Oh, and i got some white vinegar to wipe down/clean my tank. Tank is going on the stand in its permanent spot today... along with attaching electronics to controller cabinet. 80 gallons of ro/di water made and should be filling the tank on Wednesday.......................... with maybe a few pics. ;Happy

Where's Kat? did u make it back from Myrtle?

I read martin Luther letter on the plague. Just substate corona with the plague. It was a really good read. Now some of the science has been updated since 1500s but still a great read

We decided to stay until Wednesday.

Ronan kept interrupting while Evie and I were getting some "school time" in, so we locked him in the kennel! ;Hilarious ;Hilarious ;Hilarious
(Not really. He locked himself in there. It's one of his favorite places to hang out, with or without the St. Bernard lol)
