Which tang?

This is a "blender" that belongs to one of the Parrot Head musicians who lives in Key West. He has it set up here by his pool. He brings it with him when he has live performances and fires it up on stage, makes a few batches of margaritas and hands them out to the crowd. I have had a couple of 'ritas from this blender. :)

If you want to see it run, this is a video I took when they were in Orange Beach, AL. The tent is set up on the sand on the beach. Local ordinances makes them have the tent for the event. He had trouble getting it started, but if you just want to see it run, skip to about 3:40. I got a margarita out of that batch. :P

good night all..be safe.. :)

I quick question. I stuck my hand in my tank and my hair turned into a mad scientist. One of my pumps is bad. Suggestion on circulation pumps
What are you running now? Or rather, were you running before your tank turned into the "Mercy Seat"

I'm partial to the Nero 5 knock-offs Jebao is selling. I know, blasphemy, but they're REALLY effective at moving water. The settings allow for a nice random flow over my corals as well, so it might be worth it, only issue I could see is if you have a nem... Nems can get sucked through the back cover, even at half strength flow, and end up 'splitting' the unfortunate way.

Just looked up the jeabo. $45? Heck ya. I might put those on my 40g breeder

So, I did smart things with my stimulus.

New sump, 30x18, thing looks HUGE compared to my old sump, which was just a Somatic 60 (Free skimmer, couldn't complain). I still have to replumb to put it in, so that is another day of projects. $300, supported LFS, double win.

4 new coral frags, one of them a big chonky mini colony, $120 Supported LFS, triple win.

New colony from AquaSD. Going to take a frag off it, and give the rest to the LFS growout... Spent too much, but worth it. $131, Supporting LFS directly now. C-C-C-C-COMBO!

Allowed me to combine shipping for a deep blue granulosa frag. 24 bucks. Combo-Breaker!

Two absolute STEALS of frags from Pieces of the Ocean. A maroon granulosa, like, deep blood red... and a jade blue-green indo frag that I just couldn't pass up... $98 even. LFS broodstock being grown out in my tank! Flawless Victory... Fatality!

Not entirely reefing related but after a long day I completed just over half of the rough in work on the Landry room. Wiring, new LED pot lights, finished running the RODI lines. Re-insulated, poly and built a false wall inwards so I can move some duct work and install a steel duct for the dryer vent. Lots of work still to do but it's something I'm really enjoying and the wife already loves the warmer floor:)

Hope everyone else had a nice productive day once they got done talking about feet!
