There went very many channels to click through, unless you had the antenna on the roof. We had rabbit ears with aluminum foil:p
I LOVED WATCHING JOHNNY QUEST!

Battle!!! Of!!! The Planets!!!!!

Early anime was my jam.

Any memories attached to that bar and stools? If so, I vote for makeover. If bad memories, send them up to @fishguy242. I bet he can come up with a use for the WOOD bar & chairs:p
The bar was a gift from an old girlfriend. Memories? Maybe a few. :) I think I will try the makeover. It was just a cheap bar and I really never thought it would hold up on the patio, but it has been out there for 20 years. No damage, except to the finish - and a couple of barstool legs that were chewed on by our dogs. Ha.

That was even before Fox. Only the three major networks. Funny that we all got along just fine with the three channels. Remember there was always one "clear" channel and the other two that were in different towns were full of "snow." :-)

So I get up early today, send payment to the guy who I'm buying the 120 from.
Dad gets here to give a ride to pick it up (I have no truck) we get 12 miles from my house and his transmission ***** the bed. We had to limp it back to my house and then he limped it back home.
One of these days/weeks/months I will get my 120!!!
Hell at least It's paid for now:cool:

So, those who lived in Illinois will get this, but I hope the rest of you had something similar.

Saturday mornings were dedicated to cartoons in my family... My cousin would come over and we'd watch most of the saturday morning stuff, Transformers, GI Joe, Gobots, Looney Tunes. Good stuff.

But the real deal was after the cartoons, Kung Fu marathons.... 4 hours of subtitled or poorly dubbed martial arts exhibitions with loose plot. It was the best thing about childhood. Bowl of tomato soup, grilled cheese, and kung fu.
