Beautiful!

You can't get that stuff anymore. It was just such a burst of biodiversity right off the bat. Lots of stuff actually survived being shipped halfway across the globe in damp newspaper.

You made me want to go back and look. This is when I first got mine. Lots of life popped out over the next year including Palys, sponges and tons of critters.
(there is some dry rubble and shelf mixed in).

Pretty sure he is back up and running again but the roll out has been slow..

I am not a fan of his more recent man made stuff TBH. I understand it is environmentally conscious, but I prefer the real deal.
I set my tanks up with Haitian.

Look at this beauty

I miss when the pink, purple, and green weren't just painted on... when it came on the rock, thick coralline growth with sponges and little shrimp and crabs in the nooks and crannies... and stuff that you don't get to SEE out of dead rock... cryptic bivalves... I miss that... I know why they stopped it, but I still miss that.

who remembers the honduras in the mid 90's,that only lasted 4-6mo before they closed it? i'll see if i can find some old pics

Okay. Leaving work now. A little early. Been surprisingly busy lately. Six weeks of isolation other than work has taken its toll. Needed to step back and get my poo together. Spent a few days doing massive work on my tank and my apartment. Way overdue. Also trying to get back into some of my more creative habits like playing music and writing. I was getting into a bit of an isolation rut if you know what I mean.

Don't feel bad, I think that's caught up with a lot of us.... I find myself doing more things that were on my "Maybe I'll do it someday if I find time" list because... well... I found time... or time found me.

different it is..to say the least. remember you can always pop in for a good laugh hereo_O;)

Did you ever have that ONE FRAG that stressed you out?! I have one right now that I swear to god needs more attention than my wife. Leave it alone for a little bit, the base starts to recede... Slow the base from receding, the polyps friggin' retract for a week. Finally shows the polyps again, base recedes.

I swear frags like these are what calcium reactors were made for.

Good morning all. I always had good luck with monti caps And branching montipora. Grew huge in my 140. But, never had much luck with encrusting monti. Never made sense to me. I did run a calcium reactor on that tank.

i can plate them 1/16" a night, branching never have been able to get too much growth out of
