I couldn't get the window film I really needed for the tank size. I had to order from Amazon, but...the panes of glass that show are narrow enough that I could use the kit film. It's much more transparent. I honestly like the thicker film. The light is slightly more muted, but looks really good.

well wishes, but I appreciate these aren't situations that will get resolved with well wishes. Projects can be life savers. Nothing like burying yourself in productive activities to feed your soul with good stuff when there are negative things surrounding you that you cannot control.

Definitely don't put them high, unless you want to continually trim them. They can get massive, robbing light from everything below.

Personally never heard of one of those. I would say that is a growth ring. White as it forms new skeleton. The only bi-color monti cap that I am aware of is the green with purple rim, which is stunning.

So sorry to hear that your family is not doing well. They have really suffered for quite a while. You need to take care of yourself too.
