Good day on the water. Fluking was tough. The post storm algae made jigging bucktails not fun and unproductive. So on a hunch I switched to the spinner with a knock off bass assassin and bam.

For those who don't like blues, bleed them right away and then filet all dark meat. Poach in white wine with a little butter, capers and cocktail onions. Serve with white rice and saute swiss chard in garlic and oil.

No fishy or oily taste. I have passes this recipe off on some of the most finicky fish eaters who swore they hate bluefish, and they were 100% shocked at how good it was. Some even went back for seconds.
